Final Round of Birmingham League XC 2014

Local clubs will be out in force tomorrow (8 February 2014) in the final round of the 2013/14 Birmingham Cross Country League.

The Division 1 fixture is hosted by Cheltenham & County Harriers at Pittville Park and will see Coventry Godiva go head to head with local rivals Kenilworth Runners and Warwick University. After another strong season, Kenilworth will be looking to repeat their triumph over Godiva in the recent Midlands Championships and close the gap in the overall league standings. Currently Godiva are placed 5th, ahead of 9th place Kenilworth, with Warwick University in 16th place. Before the Division 1 race the final round of the Midland Women's Cross League will be run, with a 1.30pm start time.

Northbrook AC play host for Division 2, where there will be a lot of local interest as they are joined by Leamington C&AC, Stratford AC, Nuneaton Harriers, Massey Ferguson RC and Sphinx AC at Coventry's Coundon Hall Park.

Walsall Arboretum is the venue for Division 3, where the host club is West Bromwich Harriers.

The men's races in all three divisions start at 2.30pm.
