'Marathon Day' at Coventry Runner
Is a Spring Marathon your target?
Perhaps you're looking to run a half-marathon, 10K or improve your cross-country performance?
You may have just started to run and need to ask a few questions or gain a few tips?
Whatever your goal, Coventry Runner's 'Marathon Day' this Saturday 19 January 2013 will help you achieve it because we have a wealth of running experience available to answer questions, offer advice or just have a chat about any aspect of your running. In store this weekend will be:
Dave Long - Progressing from fun runner to a two times Olympic Marathon runner, Dave has run at every level of the sport, over a range of distances. He has years of running experience and knowledge and is ready and able to offer some excellent advice and guidance. Dave will be available between 9.30am and 12pm.
Dave Dix - As well as being a UKA Level 3 Performance Coach, member of the England Athletics National Coach Mentor programme and former UK Athletics Performance Programme Manager, Dave has many years of experience both as a competitive runner and middle and long distance coach. Having coached several of Coventry's top distance runners in recent years and mentored coaches from many local clubs, he too is fully qualified and ready to help and guide.
Alongside these special guests, Coventry Runner's regular staff will also be on hand to offer assistance, chat and do all the other things that are part of its award winning customer service.
To add to the buzz of the day there'll be lots of special offers, a few surprise free gifts, courtesy of Asics, Mizuno, Nike, Saucony and Ron Hill, Coventry Runner's gait analysis service and lots of tea and coffee!
The Coventry Runner 'Marathon Day' starts at 10am. We hope you can join us because, as always, if you love to run you'll love our shop.
