The very popular Brose Warwick Relays will take place this Saturday 27th October and the organisers are keen to invite runners of all abilities to take part. Last year's event proved very popular, with many local clubs using it as a warm up for the Birmingham League Cross Country.
The cross-country relays take place over a 3.3km lap of Warwick University playing fields, with men's and mixed teams consisting of four runners and women's teams consisting of three. Each runner completes one leg during the race, although runners are allowed to complete a leg for more than one team, allowing those seeking a tougher challenge to perhaps run first leg for one team and last for another.
Entry fee is £3 per runner and there will be prizes for first three in each category and for fastest male and female on the day.
